Kathleen M. Jackson – CEO

After a successful transition of operational governance to the second generation, Kathleen was appointed to the position of CEO in 1995 by the late Daniel E Kavanaugh, Jr. With a background in Marketing and Sales Management coupled with learning the business from the ground up, Kathleen was well positioned to carry the family legacy into the next generation. Kathleen’s leadership, passion and commitment to the organization, its people and customers has created a truly unique and successful platform in the security space. Her approach is Socratic and drives towards accountability, deadlines and commitments to serving others. She takes tremendous pride in the legacy of the business, the importance of staying relevant and a commitment towards the future and someday, the transition to the third generation.

Under her leadership the company has grown by 400% and is currently one of the largest privately held security companies in New Jersey. With more than 1000 employees regionally, she and her team have created unparalleled strength to respond to an ever changing, real time response-based program.

Jack Jackson – Executive Vice President

Jack is a United States Navy veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman. While on active duty, Jack was directly responsible for the health, safety and security of military personnel and led teams of specially trained Sailors and Marines to identify and alleviate threats against some of our nation’s most significant military installations and infrastructures. After fulfilling a personal commitment to serve his country, Jack received an Honorable Discharge after 10 years of faithful service.

Upon exiting the U.S. Navy, Jack moved to the private sector where he began using his training and experience in personal protection and asset security to provide executive protection to CEOs and their families, celebrities, athletes, corporations, and other private entities. Jack has led teams of executive protection and security professionals, and conducted numerous security assessments and surveys, background checks, investigations, and interviews.

Jack started at Motivated in April 2000. As Motivated’s EVP, he is responsible maximizing our operating performance, meeting the company’s financial goals, and ensuring the satisfaction of every customer. Jack manages, directs and responds in real-time to all critical issues both in the corporate office and out in the field. His prior accomplishments while serving in the U.S. Navy, combined with his executive leadership experience contribute greatly to Motivated’s success and solid positioning in the security industry.

Arthur R.Bock – Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned accounting executive with over 36 years in the accounting & finance industry with diversified public/accounting and managerial experience. Experience includes accounting, finance, treasury, taxation and operations.

Michael Bekiarian – Chief Innovation Officer

Michael serves the organization as the Chief Innovation Officer and is responsible for providing strategy and execution around innovative technology and people-based solutions. In his role Michael works to maintain a balance between technology and people without losing the high touch of a people-based service delivery model. Michael has provided leadership and management expertise for multiple companies to include 15 years within the security guard industry, several HR Technology related companies providing talent acquisition services and software. He was the CEO of a global software company working in 43 countries and has consulted on numerous small and mid-market business enterprises around organizational efficiency and productivity. Michael’s focus at Motivated is to develop, implement and maintain innovative processes and solutions that drive efficiencies while driving employee satisfaction and productivity. Michael has an undergraduate degree in business administration and a master’s degree in management with a concentration in organizational change.

Mark Savage – Manager of Business Development

As a key member of the Motivated Security team Mark has a demonstrated 32year career in the Security Industry. Having held positions with international security consulting firms, to leading his own security service company, he has led and participated in the development of security and safety plans for clients ranging from Fortune 500 firms, to the U.S. Tennis Association, The World Trade Center as well as security for other high-profile individuals, companies and events.

Designated as a C.P.P. (Certified Protection Professional) by the American Society for Industrial Security in 1997, he has been afforded the opportunity to provide consultation on various security related projects. Mark has received his Bachelor of Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and his graduate degree from the City University of New York.
